enhancing educational excellence
The Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation (otherwise known as MAEF) exists to foster and support educational excellence in our communities. Since its inception in 1988, our foundationhas distributed over $1 million dollars in grants to teachers, student scholarships and technology for schools!
In the last five years alone, we've grown exponentially and have distributed $680,000 to various worthy projects. Our funding priorities for the 2009-2010 school year and beyond are STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and the arts.
