Post-Secondary Scholarships

MAEF manages post-secondary scholarships for students attending Mahtomedi Public Schools. Scholarships are available because of generous donations from individuals and families. Scholarship donors recognize the importance of education and have chosen to actively participate in extending this opportunity.

The 2024 application window for post-secondary scholarships will open on December 22, 2023, and close at 11:59 pm on March 3, 2024.

*Applicants will be allowed to submit their FAFSA forms until April 1 @ 11:59pm.

** Please note the deadline for the MAEF Community and Technical scholarship is 11:59 pm on Friday, May 3, 2024.

GENERAL APPLICANT CRITERIA

  • Post-secondary scholarships are available to Mahtomedi Public Schools students in their junior and senior years.

  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • An application is not complete until all supporting documentation has been submitted.

  • Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.

  • Students need only complete General Application one time, regardless of number of scholarships being applied for.

Award Process

All students selected as scholarship recipients will be notified by the Mahtomedi High School Counseling Office in early May.
