A tribute to Neil Young and the rest of your favorite acoustic acts from the 70’s!

This production is all about women bringing new life to music made famous by men. It’s a girl-powered reboot of acoustic hits and deep tracks by Neil Young, CSN, America, The Eagles, and more.

Familiar songs shimmer anew under the siren voices of Carin Vagle, Karen Paurus, and Amy Courts. Celtic twist added by internationally renowned wind-powered artist, Laura MacKenzie. Acoustic guitar by Billy McLaughlin with Dan Ristrom (bass), Patrick Nelson (drums), Nathan Wilson (fiddle/mandolin), and Lisa Z (keyboards).

Your generosity will allow the MAEF Angel Fund to continue providing students and families with basic needs including funds for food, clothing, school supplies, gas, cleaning supplies, personal care items, and other resources needed for student success in and out of the classroom. 

Join us for a lively happy hour and expert panel discussion on “Maximizing Your Wealth through Charitable Giving” - whether you’re juggling a young family, preparing for retirement, or somewhere in between.

Mahtomedi Public Schools Music Faculty is excited to showcase a captivating concert filled with a variety of diverse musical selections. Shaun Johnson, an Emmy-winning singer/songwriter from Iowa, started his career with the vocal group Tonic Sol-fa, selling nearly two million albums independently. In 2018, he formed a group of top instrumentalists and arrangers, creating a contemporary Jazz Pop sound while infusing the music with his unique style. The group performs a wide range of songs, from the "Spiderman Theme" to popular works.
