We create meaningful opportunities for students and educators by transforming generosity into lasting impact. Through classroom grants, scholarships, essential resources, and district-wide investments such as upgraded playgrounds, digital arts and engineering programs, literacy libraries, and mental wellness initiatives, MAEF helps every student thrive, inspires learning, empowers teachers, and strengthens our schools.

CLASSROOM GRANTS
Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation (MAEF) empowers Mahtomedi Public Schools staff to create exceptional learning experiences that spark curiosity, inspire innovation, and enrich student learning. Last year, MAEF awarded $89,525 in classroom grants!
Together, we’re investing in innovative learning and enriching the educational experience for Mahtomedi students.
ANGEL FUND
The Angel Fund provides students and families assistance with basic needs, including food, clothing, school supplies, gas, cleaning supplies, personal care items, transportation, and other resources needed for student success in and out of the classroom. Last year, MAEF awarded $21,000 in basic needs to students and families in our community.
POST-SECONDARY SCHOLARSHIPS
Post-secondary scholarships are available to Mahtomedi Public Schools students because of generous donations from individuals and families. Scholarship donors recognize the importance of education and have chosen to actively participate in extending this opportunity. Last year, MAEF awarded $59,500 to students in pursuing their education and passions after graduation.
