Amount: $1,000/year (to be paid to awardees after first semester transcript is provided)

Students awarded this scholarship as graduating seniors may reapply for a second scholarship in their freshman year of college.

Criteria: 

• Must have received a American Legion Kramer Berg Post 507 Scholarship as a graduating senior 

• Currently a full-time student at a post-secondary 2 or 4 year accredited college or university

• Must be in his or her first year of college

BEFORE YOU BEGIN:

• Please write a 350-word (or less) essay about a new experience during your first year of post-secondary school, what you learned from it, and how it will impact your future school or career plans.

• Obtain a current college transcript and submit to scholarships@maefgives.org
