A tribute to Neil Young and the rest of your favorite acoustic acts from the 70’s!
This production is all about women bringing new life to music made famous by men. It’s a girl-powered reboot of acoustic hits and deep tracks by Neil Young, CSN, America, The Eagles, and more.
Familiar songs shimmer anew under the siren voices of Carin Vagle, Karen Paurus, and Amy Courts. Celtic twist added by internationally renowned wind-powered artist, Laura MacKenzie. Acoustic guitar by Billy McLaughlin with Dan Ristrom (bass), Patrick Nelson (drums), Nathan Wilson (fiddle/mandolin), and Lisa Z (keyboards).

Families of Preschool, Wildwood Elementary, and O.H. Anderson Elementary, let’s celebrate the dedication of our teachers and staff!
💖 How It Works:
Make a $12 donation to MAEF between January 23 - February 4, and we’ll send a Hearts of Gratitude card and a heart-shaped cookie to your teacher or special staff member.
💌 Delivery Date:
Hearts of Gratitude will be delivered on February 13.
🌟 Extend Your Gratitude Even Further:
Add a donation to ensure all teachers and staff, including cafeteria staff, custodial staff, and bus drivers, receive a Hearts of Gratitude.

The Carole Fargo Summer Enrichment Scholarship will offer scholarships to students from Mahtomedi Public Schools (grades Kindergarten through 11) who demonstrate interest and talent in the visual arts. This includes areas such as drawing, design, painting, print media, film/video, website design, sculpture, decorative arts, applied arts, and literature. The scholarships are designed to help students participate in summer camp programs or activities that focus on these creative fields.
Celebrate GivingTuesday with a Gift to Support the Basic Needs of Mahtomedi Students and families! Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation’s 24-hour appeal to raise funds for our Angel Fund.
Your generosity will allow the MAEF Angel Fund to continue providing students and families with basic needs including funds for food, clothing, school supplies, gas, cleaning supplies, personal care items, and other resources needed for student success in and out of the classroom.
Join us for a lively happy hour and expert panel discussion on “Maximizing Your Wealth through Charitable Giving” - whether you’re juggling a young family, preparing for retirement, or somewhere in between.

Shaun Johnson, an Emmy-winning singer/songwriter from Iowa, started his career with the vocal group Tonic Sol-fa, selling nearly two million albums independently. In 2018, he formed a group of top instrumentalists and arrangers, creating a contemporary Jazz Pop sound while infusing the music with his unique style. The group performs a wide range of songs, from the "Spiderman Theme" to popular works.
