Carole Fargo Summer Enrichment Scholarship for Visual Arts Students
As a strong supporter of the fine arts in children’s lives, Carole Fargo was instrumental in implementing the CAPP (Comprehensive Arts Planning Program) in 1987. CAPP advocated partnering with parents, school staff, and community members who believed that fine arts enhanced learning and life experiences. Carole was a Wildwood teacher, O.H. Anderson principal, and assistant superintendent at Mahtomedi Public Schools. After a courageous battle with ALS/Lou Gehrig’s disease, Carole established a financial endowment.
