Post-Secondary Scholarships
MAEF manages post-secondary scholarships for students attending Mahtomedi Public Schools. Scholarships are available because of generous donations from individuals and families. Scholarship donors recognize the importance of education and have chosen to actively participate in extending this opportunity.
The 2025 application window for post-secondary scholarships will open on December 20, 2024, and close at 11:59 pm on March 16, 2025.
** Please note the deadline for the MAEF Community and Technical scholarship is 11:59 pm on April 25, 2025.
GENERAL APPLICANT CRITERIA
Post-secondary scholarships are available to Mahtomedi Public Schools students in their senior year.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
An application is not complete until all supporting documentation has been submitted.
Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.

READY TO APPLY
The 2025 application window for post-secondary scholarships will open on December 20, 2024, and close at 11:59 pm on March 16, 2025.
Students need only complete the MAEF Scholarship Application for most scholarships.
The exceptions are:
Applicants applying to the MAEF Community and Technical Scholarship should fill out the MAEF Community and Technical Application.
Returning American Legion Scholarship applicants (only college freshmen) ONLY complete the American Legion Scholarship Application for Returning Students.

Award Process
All students selected as scholarship recipients will be notified by the Mahtomedi High School Counseling Office in early May. Scholarships will be awarded at the Senior Scholarship Night on May 28, 2025.
