American Legion Kramer Berg Post 507
Number of awards: up to 6/year
Amount: $1,000/year (to be paid to awardees after first semester transcript is provided)
Criteria:
Live within the Mahtomedi School District, OR be a descendant of a Post 507 member (descendants include: children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews)
Demonstrated good character and outstanding achievement in the classroom, in extracurricular activities and in the community (please note any American Legion experiences)
Plan to attend a post-secondary 2 or 4 year accredited college or university as a full-time student
Where the applicants’ merits are otherwise equal, preference shall be given to students with a demonstrated financial need
